The Josephine Recovery House

We provide more than a place to live. We provide an environment where men are expected to take responsibility for their recovery, support one another, rebuild their lives, and become productive members of their families and communities.

Our Mission

Josephine Recovery House Mission Statement

The mission of Josephine Recovery House is to provide men in recovery with a safe, structured, and supportive home where accountability, fellowship, and the principles of the 12 Steps create a foundation for lasting sobriety.

Inspired by Josephine Norkaitis and her belief in seeing the good in others, helping those in need, and never giving up on people, we believe a person's past does not have to define their future.

We provide more than a place to live. We provide an environment where men are expected to take responsibility for their recovery, support one another, rebuild their lives, and become productive members of their families and communities.

Structured 12-Step Recovery Housing for Men

Josephine Recovery House provides structured sober living for men committed to recovery from substance use disorders. Our program combines accountability, 12-step engagement, employment expectations, and peer support to help residents build a stable and sober lifestyle.

A Legacy of Love, Strength, and Second Chances

Josephine Recovery House is named in honor of my grandmother, Josephine Norkaitis.  She believed in feeding the hungry, helping those in need, supporting her community, and giving generously without expecting anything in return. Long before her family had financial success, helping others was simply part of who she was. As her ability to give grew, so did the number of people she was able to help.

But that is only part of why this house carries her name.
